This handwheel is a genuine IMER part, part number 3228750. The IMER Syntesi 190-250-300-350 EL parts book lists it as ref. 8 in both machine structure tables: Tav. 1/A (Syntesi 190-250) and Tav. 1/B (Syntesi 300-350).

The Syntesi manual explains that drum tipping is governed by manual rotation of the handwheel, which acts on the helical wheel-worm screw reduction unit connected to the arm.
