Answer
The manual asks for a visual check and then an operating check each time. Visually, make sure there is no oil leakage from hoses or hydraulic parts, no cut or disconnected wires, no loose or missing wheel nuts or damaged tires, no damaged, loose or cracked structure, and that the ground is solid with no holes or uneven spots. Confirm the manual is on board and labels are readable. Then check the hydraulic oil and battery electrolyte levels, press the emergency stop to verify it blocks all movement, test the anti-shearing device, the alarms and the emergency lowering handle, and test drive, steering, horn and brakes from the platform.
