Answer
On key-start gas models, turn the key clockwise from 0 to the first click (position 1) and keep it there. If the engine does not catch, try again, but crank for no more than 5 seconds each time. After it fires, leave the key at position 1 so the starter battery can recharge. Read the Honda manual supplied with the machine before the first start. A weak battery needs recharging; keep it clean and dry and wipe it only with a damp anti-static cloth. Before loading material, check that the drum holds no foreign objects and the discharge gate is closed.
