Wash the mixer thoroughly after each use and spray off the area beneath the discharge gate a few times a day. Change the gearbox oil once after the first 50 hours, then every 250 hours, with premium SAE 90 gear oil; the gearbox body has a drain bolt and a sight window. Follow the manual on belt tension and paddle bolts, keep the battery of gas models clean and dry, and never take off the discharge safety grate or bypass its interlock. Before any maintenance, unplug the machine or pull the spark plug wire.
