This guard is a genuine IMER OEM part, part number 3209005.

The IMER Syntesi parts book lists it as Guard, ref. 12, in Tav. 1/B Machine Structure, the table for the Syntesi 300 and 350. On the Syntesi 190 and 250 (Tav. 1/A) it lists guard 3208795 in this position instead. Our product records describe 3209005 as the mixer's plastic gearbox cover.

Replace it if the original guard is cracked, broken or missing.
