The IMER Mix 120 Plus, model 1194304, is a portable vertical shaft mixer supplied with an open grate. Formerly named the Mortarman 120, it makes a wheelbarrow of mortar, stucco, grout or dry pack cement about every 3 minutes. The vertical shaft keeps the paddles in the mix, so it mixes quickly without trapping air.

A 2 hp, 120V motor drawing 15 amps drives the paddles at 38 rpm through a high-torque gearbox with reverse. The 4.25 cu ft drum, 30 in in diameter, gives a 3 cu ft batch output and accepts aggregate up to 3/8 in. The outlet allows controlled discharge into a trowel, bucket or wheelbarrow.

Hard solid wheels and loading wheels are provided for moving it around the site. It weighs 286 lbs (310 lbs boxed), measures 33 x 30 x 50 in (L x W x H) and runs at 70 dB(A). IMER lists a rubber paddle kit (item 1107618) and a transport wheel kit as standard equipment, and the mixer can be paired with an IMER spray and grout pump for semi-automatic production. The same mixer with the iDUST dust abatement grate is model 1194302.
