The IMER HSM 8 (model 1130081) is a towable horizontal shaft mortar mixer with an 8 cu ft steel drum and a Honda GX 240 gas engine rated at 8 hp. It mixes mortars, stuccos and grouts, with a bag capacity of 2.5 to 3 bags and an 8 cu ft batch output.

An enclosed gearbox transmits power to the paddles and runs quieter with less heat and gear wear; the noise level is under 79 dB. The mixer has externally mounted pillow blocks, an extra large safety grate, a locking handle that prevents unexpected dumping, and forklift pockets.

The HSM 8 rides on 5.3 x 12 in tires, has a 59-3/4 in charging height and weighs 650 lbs. It is 45 in wide, 57-1/2 in high and 73 in long, or 92-3/4 in with the tow bar. A 2 in ball hitch tow bar is standard; a pintle hitch is available and must be selected at the time of purchase. Options include spiral mixing blades (up to 30% faster mixing), a torsion bar axle and the HSM 8 Poly Tub Upgrade (1131081), which must be factory installed.
