The IMER HSM 8 electric (model 1130082) is a towable horizontal shaft mortar mixer with an 8 cu ft steel drum and a 1.5 hp electric motor listed as 120V/240V. It mixes mortars, stuccos and grouts, with a bag capacity of 2.5 to 3 bags and an 8 cu ft batch output.

The paddles are driven through an enclosed gearbox that runs quieter with less heat and gear wear; the noise level is under 79 dB. Pillow blocks are mounted externally, an extra large safety grate is standard, and a locking handle prevents unexpected dumping. The unit also has forklift pockets.

The HSM 8 weighs 650 lbs, rides on 5.3 x 12 in tires and has a 59-3/4 in charging height. It is 45 in wide, 57-1/2 in high and 73 in long, or 92-3/4 in with the tow bar. A 2 in ball hitch tow bar is standard; a pintle hitch is available and must be selected at the time of purchase. Options include spiral mixing blades (up to 30% faster mixing), a torsion bar axle and the HSM 8 Poly Tub Upgrade (1131081), which must be factory installed.
