Deflectors are available in 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 mm. A smaller hole breaks the material up more finely, while a bigger hole copes better with coarser material. IMER fits the 14 mm deflector for ordinary plastering products. Whatever size you choose, set the gap between nozzle and outlet equal to the deflector diameter, so a 14 mm deflector means a 14 mm gap. Tune the water to the consistency the product maker recommends, and clear the nozzle with the supplied tool when the shift ends. The spray jet appears on parts drawing 6.
