The IMER Mix 360 Plus Mortarman, model 1194662, is a towable vertical shaft paddle mixer with a 240V, 5 hp, single-phase (1ø) industrial-duty electric motor. Vertical shaft mixers use the principles of concrete batch plant design: the paddles rotate through the mix rather than lifting and dropping it as conventional mortar mixers do, so the Mix 360 easily mixes very low slump materials such as dry pack mortar and refractory cement, as well as UHPC.

The 12 cu ft drum gives a batch output of 9 cu ft (materials can influence the batch output) and handles aggregate up to 3/8 in. The paddle system is powered by gearboxes developed in IMER's batch plant division. The industrial-duty electric motor can operate continuously and easily mixes stiff, dry materials. Four legs adjust to many different positions, and the dump mechanism discharges as needed, with a discharge outlet height of 30 in max and 18 in min.

An auto shut down safety grate (IMER dust grate) covers the drum, and there is a hook-up for a water connection. A tow bar, torsion bar suspension and 18 in pneumatic highway tires make transport easy. The electric model weighs 787 lbs and measures 59 x 44 x 58 in (L x W x H); noise level is below 79 dB.
